John DeBenedetti, President and CEO of Del Monte Meat Co. and Ports Seafood. From 1995 to 2015 he grew these businesses from a $30 million to $250 million dollar enterprise and managed approximately 400 employees. In 2015, after twenty years of fervently growing Del Monte Meat Co., John sold the business to the publicly traded company, The Chef's Warehouse. The Chef's Warehouse is a specialty food distributor of high-quality food products to support chefs in major metropolitan areas across the United States and Canada. John retired in January 2018 to spend more time with his family and pursue other opportunities. It is John's goal to build an investment portfolio which includes a broad range of companies where he can utilize his knowledge and experience to help support and mentor other entrepreneurs who have dreams and goals of building great businesses!
